SUMMARY:STARFLEET Medical Reading Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Our new Reading Challenge will be starting on March 1st! Please join the STARFLEET Medical Reading Challenge Facebook Group. You must answer the questions to join per STARFLEET regulations. You will not be permitted to join if you do not answer the questions.\n  \nWith that little bit of business out of the way…..all files will be added to the group soon.\n  \nThe Challenge is simple\, you just read. Read whatever you want\, as much or as little as you like\, any genre\, any age. You will fill out the excel document that will be in files with your name\, SCC number\, ship name\, region\, book title\, author\, and pages read. At the end of the month\, you will simply email the form to medicalr04asg@sfi.org. Certificates will be awarded to everyone who participates. There will also be monthly awards for the most read per person\, per ship\, and per region.\n  \nThere will occasionally be monthly challenges\, for instance\, this month we may give double pages read for Star Trek books\, or Sci Fi\, or historical…etc. Always\, any STARFLEET manual will be double pages scored.\n  \nI am sure there will be kinks to work out\, and I appreciate your patience as we begin this new Challenge. SUMMARY:STARFLEET Medical: Region 17 Fitness Challenge
DESCRIPTION:STARFLEET Medical: Region 17 has a fitness challenge open to all members of STARFLEET. This challenge counts steps OR active minutes. You can turn in week by week or once at the end of each month. \nWhile many of our members choose to walk\, our department recognizes that this is not feasible for all members. Active minutes may be counted in lieu of steps\, such as wheelchair yoga\, physical therapy\, swimming\, or adaptive weightlifting sessions. Please choose whether you turn in steps OR active minutes each month. \nPlease contact R17 ASG Coleen Parker at theotherotter4@gmail.com if you need different accommodations. \nThis is an event that will last all year for fun\, no pressure. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the final Sciences Challenge for 2024! The oceans of our planet are as beautiful as they are mysterious. Less than 5% of the world’s ocean has been explored\, leaving so much to still be found and even more to be left to spark the imagination. This challenge will lead into our first challenge\, expanding on your knowledge of the world’s oceans. We invite anyone who wishes to participate to join in.
